Our ships are classified by BV – BUREAU VERITAS.

They are also holders of the following certificates: Class Certificate; Cargo Ship Safety Radio; Cargo Ship Safety Equipment; Cargo Ship Safety Construction; International Oil Pollution Prevention; International Load Line (HSSC); and Anti-Fouling System (European Union Regulation 782.2003).

Hygiene, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) are essential elements for FAMAR – PSC, both in terms of the products we sell and the quality of the services we provide.

Our fleet is equipped with the necessary anti-pollution equipment, fully respecting the standards established by the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL 1973/1978).

We care about the safety of our crews and carry out regular certification inspections, following all the points established by the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 1974).

FAMAR – PSC Security Management System (SMS) is also recognized by the Republic of Angola as complying with the International Ship Security Management Code (ISM Code) and the International Code for the Protection of Ships and Port Facilities (ISPS Code).
